Mr Perfect Review – Prabhas Movie

Mr Perfect Movie Review – Mr. Perfect Review – Mr. Perfect Rating, Telugu Movie Review: Prabhas who bagged a decent hit with his previous film Darling is back again with the same genre of film Mr. Perfect. It is a brand Dil Raju film targeted at families and female audience. Let’s get into the details in Mr. Perfect review…

Story:

Vicky (Prabhas) is a guy who wants to live his life according to his wishes. When his parents fix his marriage with Priya (Kajal), who Vicky feels is a complete mismatch to him. And he rejects the proposal. He finds another girl Maggie (Taapsee) who is identical with his character. But her father (Prakash Raj) says that he is not a perfect groom for his daughter. He challenges that he can impress none with his character and ideology. Vicky takes up the challenge. But does he succeed in it? Find the answer on silver screen.

Analysis:

Mr. Perfect is a film that is developed on a single point that we have to see that everyone around us is happy rather making ourselves happy. Like every Dil Raju film, this one too preaches about the family values and human bonding. Although the basic idea is good the film failed on the execution part.

There are not many heart touching scenes in the film. Every character compromises at one point or the other. Realizations, discussions, relations, experiences… this forms the screenplay of this movie. Everybody gets into preachy mode all the time and bores you to the core. Situations are forced and therefore the film lacked soul. We hardly find any scene which is at least near to ‘perfect’, leave alone perfect.

Saying so, it is for family audiences who don’t mind watching same old dramatic scenes time and again. If you are game for clichéd formulaic films, then Mr. Perfect is just for you. If you are looking for freshness in theme and characterizations then two hours boredom is guaranteed.

The film falls short on comedy aspect too. Brahmanandam and Raghu Babu try too hard to make you laugh. The protagonist’s arguments about a perfect life are pretty confusing. He actually compromises every time but people around him say that he has not compromised and was correct! Phew!!

Another biggest drawback is the pace of the film. It is snail paced and lacks energy. Scenes during the climax drag with too many conversations. On a whole, Mr. Perfect has too many defects. Only the formulaic presentation and family drama should help it to sustain at the box office.

Performances:
Prabhas performance is fine. He did his best to pull off a character which is low on energy. Actually, this role didn’t suit his persona. Prabhas is best when he is active and energetic. Uttering pages of dialogs and using less muscle isn’t his forte. Kajal looked good in few scenes and bad in few. Inconsistent makeup is the main drawback. Her performance is good though. May be she is getting typecast these days.

Taapsee is Okay. She dubbed in her own voice. Prakash Raj did this type of role in every alternate film. He looked bored. Murali Mohan and K. Vishwanadh scare you every time they open their mouth. They keep on preaching moral values of life.

Brahmanandam is routine and Raghubabu is loud. There is nothing much to say about the remaining star cast.

Tehnicalities:

None of the songs are good on ears. Devi Sri Prasad’s tunes lacked novelty and energy. Background score is partly good. Editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh is standard. Cinematography by Vijay Chakravarthy is fine. Dialogs written by Abburi Ravi are good in parts. One can notice that he is just rephrasing Trivikram’s dialogs.

Director Dasarath once again failed to recreate his Santosham magic. This film is heavily inspired from many hit films and Dasarath simply relies on formulaic scenes and content to score a hit. This film doesn’t do any good for him as there is not a single scene that has shown director’s brilliance.

Plus Points:

- Family drama
- Few entertaining scenes in the first half

Minus points:

- Boring screenplay
- Preachy dialogs
- Dragging second half

Final Word: Mr. Perfect is a clichéd film which is targeted at holiday crowds. It might work on the commercial front but the content is very poor. Go for it if you don’t mind watching same old family drama yet again.

Mr. Perfect Review rating: 3.25/5

Pen PC

Pen PC - Pen Shaped Miniature Personal Computer

Email claims that attached photographs depict a revolutionary new pen-shaped personal computer that operates via a projected virtual keyboard and monitor.

Brief Analysis
The photographs are genuine but they show only a prototype computer. These devices are not yet available to consumers. It is currently unclear when or if personal computers of this type will become available to the public.

Detailed analysis and references below example.

Example:

I must have one of these

Pen Computer 1

Look closely and guess what they could be...

Pen Computer 2

Are they pens with cameras?

Pen Computer 3

Any wild guesses? No clue yet?

Ladies and gentlemen... congratulations!
You've just looked into the future... yep that's right!

You've just seen something that will replace your PC in the near future.

Here is how it works:

Pen Computer 4

In the revolution of miniature computers, scientists have made great developments with bluetooth technology...

This is the forthcoming computers you can carry within your pockets

Pen Computer 5

This "pen sort of instrument" produces both the monitor as well as the keyboard on any flat surfaces from where you can carry out functions you would normally do on your desktop computer.

Pen Computer 6

Pen Computer 7

Can anyone say, "Goodbye laptops!"

Looks like our computers are out of date..again!

Detailed Analysis
According to this email forward, a series of attached photographs show a new concept in personal computing - a pen-shaped miniaturized PC that users operate via a virtual monitor and keyboard that the device projects onto any available flat surface. The message suggests that these handy pen-sized computers may be set to replace existing PC's and laptops in the near future.

However, although a conceptual prototype of the "pen" computer was built in 2003, such devices are not yet available to consumers. The prototype device, dubbed the "P-ISM", was a "Pen-style Personal Networking Gadget" created in 2003 by Japanese technology company NEC. The P-ISM was featured at the 2003 ITU Telecom World held in Geneva, Switzerland. An article about the device published on the Wave Report website in 2004 Explains:
At ITU Telecom World we got a sample of another view by NEC. It is based on the pen and called P-ISM. This concept is so radical that we went to Tokyo to learn more.

The design concept uses five different pens to make a computer. One pen is a CPU, another a camera, one creates a virtual keyboard, another projects the visual output and thus the display and another a communicator (a phone). All five pens can rest in a holding block which recharges the batteries and holds the mass storage. Each pen communicates wireless, possibly Bluetooth.
A write-up about the P-ISM that was previously avilable on an NEC website notes:
A Pen-style Personal Networking Gadget Package

It seems that information terminals are infinitely getting smaller. However, we will continue to manipulate them with our hands for now. We have visualized the connection between the latest technology and the human, in a form of a pen. P-ISM is a gadget package including five functions: a pen-style cellular phone with a handwriting data input function, virtual keyboard, a very small projector, camera scanner, and personal ID key with cashless pass function. P-ISMs are connected with one another through short-range wireless technology. The whole set is also connected to the Internet through the cellular phone function. This personal gadget in a minimalistic pen style enables the ultimate ubiquitous computing.
However, the prototype displayed at ITU Telecom World was apparently the only sample that was built and reportedly cost $30,000. Thus, while the prototype may have proved that such technology is feasible, it is currently unclear when - or even if - personal computers of this type will become available to the public. Several years on from the initial launch of the P-ISM conceptual prototype, there seems to be little information available about future plans for such products. Saying "goodbye" to our current laptop computers might therefore be just a tad premature at this point.

While consumers can not yet purchase "pen" computers like the P-ISM, virtual projected keyboards like the ones shown in the photographs are already available from various companies including Lumino and Virtual devices.

It should be noted that the last two virtual keyboard photographs in the sequence were apparently added later and do not depict the original P-ISM set up.

Virender Sehwag

Virender Sehwag

born 20 October 1978, in DelhiIndia, affectionately known as Viru, the Nawab of Najafgarh, or the Zen master of modern cricket, is one of the leading batsmen in the Indian cricket team. Sehwag is an aggressive right-handed opening batsman and a part-time right-arm off-spin bowler. He played his first One Day International in 1999 and joined the Indian Test cricket team in 2001. In April 2009, Sehwag became the only Indian to be honored as the Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World for his performance in 2008,subsequently becoming the first player of any nationality to retain the award for 2009.
Sehwag holds multiple records including the highest score made by an Indian in Test cricket (319), which was also the fastest triple century in the history of international cricket (reached 300 off only 278 balls) as well as the fastest 250 by any batsman (in 207 balls against Sri Lanka on 3 December 2009 at the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai). Sehwag also holds the distinction of being one of four batsmen in the world to have ever surpassed 300 twice in Test cricket, and the only one to score two triple centuries and take a five-wicket innings haul. In March 2009, Sehwag smashed the fastest century ever scored by an Indian in ODI cricket, from 60 balls.
Sehwag was appointed as vice-captain of the Indian team under Rahul Dravid in October 2005 but due to poor form, he was later replaced by V. V. S. Laxman in December 2006 as Test vice-captain. In January 2007, Sehwag was dropped from the ODI team and later from the Test team as well.During his term as vice-captain, Sehwag skippered the team in place of injured Dravid in 2 ODIs and 1 Test. Following his return to form in 2008 and the retirement of Anil Kumble, Sehwag has been reappointed as the vice-captain for both Tests and ODIs. By early 2009, Sehwag had reestablished himself as one of the best performing batsmen in ODI cricket
